What's a good petrol estate or SUV that can cope in snow?

I'm looking for a good quality 2.0-litre petrol 4WD SUV / estate car, preferably two or three years old. We live in a lane which most years gets snowed in for a few days so it must actually perform in snow.

A Subaru XV might be a good option. If you can stretch to the 2018 model, it's excellent in the snow and very well built - although the cabin isn't the plushest. Also consider a Honda CR-V. If you're worried about snow, invest in a set of winter tyres.
