How much is a 1977 Toyota Celica liftback worth?

Is £8000 stupid money for an original 'mustang-style' 1977 Toyota Celica lifback requiring full restoration?

These cars have become incredibly valuable - it's not unheard of to see a really good one on a dealer's forecourt for £14k. That said, one that requires full restoration would only be £2k-£3k. But it depends on what state it's in. If it's rust-free, complete, low mileage and needs very little to get it back on the road, then the price would be a lot higher. If you're unsure, why not contact the Celica Club (www.celica-club.co.uk) or enlist the help of another Toyota club expert.
