Can you buy standalone windscreen insurance?

Is there such a thing as windscreen insurance that's not otherwise an add-on to car insurance, a bit like SMART/Alloys etc.? The company insures my car but I have to pick up maintenance and the excess for windscreen is £100. I'm thinking over three years I'll likely get a chip or two, or worse!

I am only aware of it as an add-on to a car insurance. However, there are smart repairers who repair windscreen chips, depending on the size of the chip.
