Toblerone - groaver

I see the Matterhorn is to be removed:

In order that Mondelez can "expand" the reach of the product.

The Swiss don't allow any milk based product to have national symbols if they aren't made there.

To be honest I thought the Matterhorn had been on the packaging since the beginning.

Apparently it only started in 1970.

Would most people notice if it was replaced by a generic image of a mountain?

I certainly wouldn't

:-)

The Berne bear will be missing too:

I was completely oblivious of that until watching an old episode of QI not that too long ago!. I guess I was always more interested in what was inside the packaging than on it!

They are (were, now?) a lovely bar of chocolate. :-p

I would not be surprised if they tasted different to how they used to be, Modelez Cadbury chocolate is very different to how it used to be.

I never noticed the bear until I saw it mentioned in a news article today. Can't say I'd ever noticed the Matterhorn either for that matter (horn).
