Nissan Micra 1.4S 5 Door 2006 - Micra sunroof glass broken - replacement needed - Robb1e

Found a Micra in remarkable condition for my Ukrainian colleague. Sadly over the weekend someone broke the original equipment sunroof glass with a stone. I have tried all the usual sources for a replacement without success. Does anyone have or know where I can find this part please? My colleague needs the car for work and has to keep it outside where it is exposed to the current rainy conditions. Thank you.

Assuming this car has a pop-up sunroof, it may be possible to find one at a sc***yard - the better ones advertise on E-bay. Shouldn't be too hard to DiY-fit ?

making it watertight may be a later challenge ...

Many thanks Andrew-T. I rang or messaged 30 plus sc***pyard's/breakers UK wide with an online presence without success, including a couple who specialise in Micra's. Then remembered a small yard 5 miles away, rang them and they had one. £40 paid for a sunroof complete with frame, motor, blinds and most importantly, intact glass. Looks fairly simple to swop over with the waterproofing challenge to follow!.

Well found ! If the glass is the only damaged item, with luck you may be able to swap only that. I wouldn't fancy meddling with all the other bits .... :-)
