Citroen C3 Picasso - Engine fault- diagnostics report - Rb1234567

Hi, wondered if anyone could help at all. Engine fault light has come on our car saying repair needed and now won't start. We have had a diagnostics report done which has come back with the following- error code p2244 mixture in the circuit imtegral circuit for linking in of sensor faulty.

Error code- p0003 fuel flow regulator

Error code - p0245 fixed geomentry turbo control

Error code - p2426 control of the EGR exchanger bypass.

Top chain which runs the cams seems as if the chain has slipped or has a mechanical fault resulting in the car not starting.

These were the notes given to us from the mobile mechanic. Xan anyone shine any light on what this means and if it is fixable. Thanks in advance ??

Yes it is

Really depends how far the chain has jumped . It’s belt drive on the front end and chain drive across the 2 cams . You could be lucky , but I suspect there will be top end damage . All those fault codes are superfluous until you get the engine running.

Really need to confirm that the timing chain has jumped before condemning the engine.

Would it not be more likely the cambelt has jumped/broken than the chain.

Needs a proper Lexia diagnostic. You can find someone with the kit at frenchcarforum

Surely you need a mechanic on it, rather than plugging into a diagnostic machine if the cam chain has jumped teeth?

What year is it? Depending on age it may not have a cam chain.

Those faults are probably linked by loss of the 5V reference - which probably won't stop it starting (unless the cam sensor goes off, can't remember).

Needs someone to look at the live data when it's been cranked to see which of crank signal, cam synch and fuel pressure is missing before you can figure out what's wrong with it.
