sadly the bikers' forum here is very quiet, I think for such a specialist question you may need to go to a honda forum where no dout you will get a swift answer to your question. I'm a kawasaki guy, a dedicated forum for my bike has heaps about what shock from which models are transferable, I'm sure the equivalent Honda forum will be as helpful, especailly for a bike as popular as the VFR.
