7 out of 10.

Got the wrong era for Mesopotamia, wrong place for largest refinery and wrong price per litre in the USA - but then I didn't think they sold it by the litre and a US gallon is 25% smaller than an imperial gallon so how was I supposed to compare?

How about theirs is about $2 a gallon? (and it's 10% smaller)
Re: Do people know their oil? - terryb
US Pint = 16 fl oz, imperial pint = 20 fl oz. Actually I make that 20% smaller (or ours 25% bigger). 8 of either of them in a gallon.

Or am I missing something Trev?

hmmmmmm 2 out of 10!!!

But I am not so sure the Grauniad knows their oil either! The average price of a litre in the UK is 89.9 - not the last time I looked it wasn't (or perhaps I was getting confused!)

6 out of 10...twice...bit of an eye opener though...good quiz...but one thing...does this take into account the Gruadian speeling...? (Apologies to this newspaper in case of any law suite...!)
