Unknown - Help ID this shooting brake
All sorts of theories about the ID of this RHD estate car, circa mid 50s, an American friend reckons it's a (US) 55 Ford station wagon, but I think it's British built. There is a name badge on the front wing. I haven't seen anything remotely similar anywhere. Anyone got any ideas?

It's an Opel Olympia Rekord P built between 1957-60. This picture shows an Opel Olympia Rekord P Caravan.The name Caravan was given to all Opel station wagons for several years after. Hope this helps
