Which pick-up should I get to replace my Mitsubishi L200?

I'm looking to trade in my 2006 Mitsubishi L200 but I'm stuck for choice. I want something 2014 onwards and keep seeing the Ford Ranger, although I've seen some horror stories about reliability.What's you recommendation for a good replacement.
