How can I protect my pick-up from thieves?

Is it possible to buy a lockable cover or tool box for a Mitsubishi L200? I’ve had my pick-up for a few months now – and it’s perfect for carrying heavy materials - but I’m worried about leaving tools and drills in the back in case they’re stolen. Can you recommend anything?

There are lots of load covers around, but they’re not cheap and you’ll be looking at £1500+ for a good one. My advice would be to buy a lockable metal safe for your tools. They start at around £100 and are pretty reliable. Try Tuff Boxes - they sell a range of lockable metal boxes, which can also be fastened to the floor of the load area. www.tuffboxes.co.uk
