Which chain cam camper van is less susceptible to DPF problems?
If I were looking to buy a camper van with a chain-cam engine while also seeking to avoid potential DPF problems, what makes / models should I be considering?

Current Renault Trafic and Masters, 2.0 and 2.2 diesels, and equivalent Vauxhalls and Nissans are chain cam, and Mercedes-Benz vans (apart from the Citan) are chain cam. There's no way of avoiding DPFs on a new diesel van, though: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/renault/renault-tr.../
