What's the knocking in my 2008 Volkswagen Transporter?

Knocking noises are usually related to the suspension. Bushes and rear springs are common failure areas on the Volkswagen Transporter T5. Alternatively, if knocking is heard from the steering, then you might need to replace the lower part of the column.
