When does the timing chain in my van-based motorhome need replaced?

I own a 2010 motorhome based on a Peugeot Boxer, with nearly 20,000 miles on the clock. Could you tell me whether it has a cam belt or chain fitted? In addition, please advise me as to when it should be replaced.

I'm pretty sure all of the 2.2-litre HDi engines in the 2010 Boxer use timing chains. And as long as it's serviced regularly - every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first - the chain should last the life of the van.
