Why won't my Vauxhall Vivaro crew cab van withstand much weight?

The rear suspension on my 2017 Vauxhall Vivaro crew cab van doesn’t seem to withstand much weight. Does anybody know where I can buy upgraded springs or airbags for this model?

A crew cab van won’t have the same load carrying capacity as a standard panel van. Before looking into modifications, you'll need to check that you’re not overloading it. To do this check the gross vehicle weight (GVW), which is the maximum legal weight of the vehicle (plus the load and people it’s carrying).

If the GVW exceeds 3.5 tonnes – and you’re using the van for work - then you’ll need to fit a tachograph. For more details, see: vans.honestjohn.co.uk/van-news/comment/do-you-need.../
