What small, used van would £2000 afford me?

What small van would I be able to buy for £1500 - £2000?

Your choices will be rather limited with £1500 - £2000. Your best bet might be the old shape Ford Transit Connect. There are lots on the used market and you should be able to find a well-kept van with modest mileage: vans.honestjohn.co.uk/van-reviews/ford/transit-con.../

The Transit Connect has a pretty good reputation when it comes to bodywork and it's also cheap to run and fix. There’s very little difference in prices between short wheelbase and long wheelbase models, which means you can get quite a lot of carrying capacity for your money. The gearbox is tough too, though a replacement would cost around £600, so avoid any vans that have slow of sticking gear changes.
