Im a huge VW fan and have had lots, my 09 caddy did 200k miles with 0 mechanical problems. But this Special expensive Transporter we bought for work , from new has been back to VW 6 times since 2018. The bench seat is uncomfortable for passengers, the dash was fitted wrong and had a very sharp edge of plastic showing so was refitted . The passenger door RATTLED and whistled until the garage fitted a rubber strip. the Air con climate control is either too hot or too cold. The driving position is poor for a 5ft 11 man and i had to move the bulk head back to allow room for my legs. The alternator tensioner seized and left me stranded by the side of the road.It tased me out having had a turbo part split. The alternator seized and left me stranded again and today the battery died so its back at vw gain and each time i have to hire a van as they won't loan me on saying they just don't have any.
