Fiat unveils 2018 Sportivo van range

Fiat has unveiled its 2018 range of Sportivo vans. The custom packs start from £1500 and add alloy wheels, metallic paint, side-stripes, painted bumpers, and a host of other safety and comfort features to the Fiorino, Doblo, Talento and Ducato panel vans.

Sportivo trim represents the halo models of Fiat's van range and promises significant savings for buyers who want lots of factory-fitted kit on their van. For example, the Fiorino Sportivo 1.3 80PS MultiJet II gets £2055 worth of equipment but costs just £1500 more than a van that would have had the equipped added separately.

The Doblo Cargo Sportive range starts at £17045 1.3 95PS MultiJet II while the Talento Sportivo starts at £26,245 for the 1.6 LWB 12 145PS and gets an equipment pack that includes cruise control, rear view camera and leather steering wheel. Fiat claims that the Talento savings amount to around £1000, compared to a manually specified van with the options.

The Ducato Sportivo starts at £32,400 for the 35 2.3 150PS MultiJet II and boasts rear camera, reverse parking sensors and cruise control that is worth £4230 but costs £3230 more over the standard model.

The Sportivo trim was launched in 2014 and all of the 2018 model swill be on display at the NEC Commercial Vehicle Show from 24 - 26 April.
