Land Rover Discovery Commercial Review 2024

Land Rover Discovery Commercial At A Glance

3/5

+Refined and comfortable cabin, proven 4x4 powertrain, 3.5 tonne towing capacity.

-Expensive, not as practical as a one-tonne pick-up.

New Discovery Commercial will be based on the latest 4x4 SUV and provide 1856 litres of loadspace, with the second and third row of seats removed to free up storage capacity.

Measuring up to 1.6 metres long and 1.4 metres wide, the loadspace will carry 1856 litres of cargo, while the powered tailgate will accept loads measuring up to 1000 x 735mm.  A trailer stability system will be fitted as standard, helping the driver tow up to 3.5 tonnes when connected to a braked trailer.

The all-diesel engine line-up will have two powertrain options: a 240PS 2.0-litre SD4 and a 258PS 3.0-litre TD6, with both linked to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. As you’d expect from Land Rover, four-wheel drive is fitted as standard and the driver also gets a raft of tech to help the Discovery power its way through everything from mud to snow.

With prices starting at £48,695 (including VAT), standard equipment will be high with air suspension, cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning and a heated windscreen fitted as standard. Land Rover's InControl Touch Pro touchscreen infotainment and navigation will also be featured, along with DAB audio, heated door mirrors and automatic tyre pressure monitoring.
