Top 10 London LEZ friendly vans
The London Low Emission Zone is a ring around the UK capital that takes in almost every street within the M25 radius. It has been set up to improve air quality and cut vehicle emissions, which means any van, pick-up or minibus that doesn’t meet at least Euro 4 emissions standards will be financially punished for straying into the LEZ. Here are our favourite LEZ-friendly vans.
Citroen Dispatch
The Citroen Dispatch mixes much of the size of a larger van with the driving feel and manners of smaller models. It makes for a wise choice in city driving, where it’s nimble through crowded streets but can handle plenty of cargo. Both the 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre turbodiesel engines meet EU5 emissions standards, but the Dispatch is hampered by a low Euro NCAP crash rating.
