According to 2015 Real MPG submissions, the Volkswagen Caddy (2010 - 2015 model) returns on average 91 per cent of its official fuel economy. Look deeper and it’s the 140PS 2.0 TDI that shines out the most, averaging at 52.4 mpg. The 1.6 diesel also scores highly, 47.9mpg, although the addition of an automatic 'box lowers this considerably, with readers reporting an average of 38.1mpg.
