Do you know if the Suzuki Jimny underbody is galvanised?

I have a Skoda Fabia, owned from new and 10 years old. As it's Volkswagen Group, it's galvanised and has perfect bodywork. I'm interested in buying a new Suzuki Jimny 4x4, it's built like a tank and very reliable but is it galvanised? The underbody does not seem to have much anti-rust protection and two dealers I've asked say they don't know. I live in Wales, miles from anywhere and roads are narrow - often only eight to ten feet wide so the Jimny would be perfect.

I don't think so. I've seen older examples in Northumberland with more holes in them than a teabag.

I drive a Hyundia i20 2011, it's small, compact, great on space, fuel economy and I love it. It's great on the motorways and in the city. The problem is the rust underneath. I now need to start to look...
