Ford launches Transit24 servicing
Ford has launched Transit24, a new servicing scheme designed to minimise the time a vehicle is off the road when being serviced or repared. More than 90 of Ford's 200 commercial vehicle repair network have been designated as 'Transit24 Dealers' which offer while you wait servicing including late night appointments and will aim to complete repairs on the same working day or within 24 hours.
Every Transit24 site employs Ford-trained technicians and has specialised workshop equipment and tools to deal with all service, maintenance and warranty work. Only genuine Ford parts are used and the repairers also use an electronic recalls programme to identify any outstanding recalls that have not been dealt with. Collection and delivery of vans is available and every vehicle leaves the dealership washed and ready for work.
Every Ford Transit and Transit Connect comes with a three year/100,000-mile warranty plus Ford Assistance, a premium roadside assistance package which includes ‘load continuation’, so that in the event of a breakdown, the load can be delivered before the vehicle is taken to a repairer.
Ford has already launched the new Transit Custom and facelifted Fiesta van this year and by the end of 2013 we'll see the new two-tonne Transit and a new Transit Connect too.
