Isuzu announces prices for new D-Max
The new Isuzu D-MAX will start at £14,499 plus VAT when the pick-up goes on sale this June. That gets you the entry-level model which is a single cab and comes with air conditioning, electric windows, daytime running lights and numerous airbags.
Moving up to the ‘Eiger’ double cab version, priced from £18,499 plus VAT, adds 16-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, body-coloured bumpers and iPod connectivity. The 'Yukon' double cab model gets a leather steering wheel with cruise and audio controls, a six-speaker sound system, chrome exterior detailing and 17-inch alloys. It's priced at £18,999 plus VAT.
The top ‘Utah’ model has leather upholstery, heated front seats and climate control, as well as parking sensors and an automatic gearbox. It’s priced from £21,499 plus VAT.
All models are powered by a 163PS 2.5-litre twin turbo diesel engine, with peak torque of 400Nm from low down the rev range at 1400rpm. The D-Max is rated to tow a three-tonne braked trailer and has a payload capacity of 1000kg.
The Isuzu D-Max will be unveiled to the public on 24-26 April at the Birmingham NEC as part of the UK Commercial Vehicle Show.
