Volkswagen offers free winter safety checks for vans

Volkswagen is offering commercial vehicle owners a free 29-point visual health check and battery check, with the aim of keeping vans at their best over winter.

The check-up covers tyres, wipers and lights and is available at Volkswagen Van Centres until 28 February. Those who bring their vans in for a check will get a complimentary thermal mug, complete with a hot drink.

Kevin Rendell, Head of Service and Parts at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK, commented: ‘Ensuring your vehicle is safe for the roads throughout winter is extremely important to prevent accidents and breakdowns.

‘We are providing these free checks as a preventative measure as minimising downtime is crucial for our customers.’
