Renault launches Master and Trafic Passenger
Renault has launched passenger versions of the new Trafic and the updated Master. Both are available to order now and will arrive in early 2015 with prices starting at £20,145 for the Trafic Passenger and £22,210 for the Master Passenger, excluding VAT.
The new Trafic is the sister van to the Vauxhall Vivaro and was launched earlier this year. The passenger version is available with either a short or long wheelbase and comes in two trims - Business and Sport.
All models have three rows of seats although you can opt to delete the third row. Sport models also have two individual front seats.
Business models comes with 90PS, 115PS and ENERGY 120PS and 140PS versions of the 1.6-litre dCi engine, with claimed fuel economy of between 42.8mpg and 49.6 mpg.
Standard equipment includes electric front windows, DAB radio, trip computer, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors, two sliding side doors and Electronic Stability Control with Hill Start Assist. Sport models add metallic paint, a 7-inch touchscreen multimedia and navigation system, Bluetooth plus air conditioning among the extras.
The Master Passenger comes as either a six-seat Combi, nine-seat Combi, 17-seat Minibus or Trabus glazed panel van. All versions are powered by the Master 2.3-litre dCi engine.
Business trim is standard on all models and comes with DAB radio, Bluetooth along with Electronic Stability Control with Grip Xtend, Hill Start Assist and Trailor Swing Assist. The six-seat Combi has a 3182mm wheelbase, while the nine-seat Combi is extended to 3682mm. T the 17-seat Minibus the wheelbase is even longer at 4332mm.
