Dacia enters CV market with £9595 Duster Commercial

Dacia has entered the CV market with a commercial version of the Duster. The Duster Commercial will be a factory-built van, with the rear seats replaced with a 1150-litre load bay. The MPV-based van will be capable of carrying 550kg and will go on sale in the summer, with prices starting from £9595 +VAT.
Because the Duster Commercial is classed as a van, owners will be able to reclaim the VAT on the purchase price, along with the flat-rate benefit-in-kind taxation for users.
Just one engine option is available, a 1.5-litre diesel with 107PS and 240Nm of torque. According to Dacia, the Duster Commercial will return up to 56.5mpg and emit 130g/km of CO2, although economy falls to 54.3mpg with the specification of four-wheel drive.
Two trim levels will be available from launch - Ambiance and Laureate - with base models getting roof bars, chrome grille, toughened plastic floor with two anchorage points as standard.
Laureate versions will add alloy wheels, air conditioning, satin chrome roof bars, side sills and scuff plates. However, tailgate privacy glass is not included as standard, but can be added for an additional £300.
