Mercedes-Benz Vito based ‘Moselle’ camper coming from Wellhouse Leisure

Yorkshire-based campervan builder Wellhouse Leisure is to launch a new model based on the Mercedes-Benz Vito. Expected to cost from £48,500, the Moselle will be available from summer 2015 and offers an elevating roof, fridge, heater, sink, gas hob and LED lighting as standard.
The Moselle has a gross vehicle weight of 3200kg so can be driven on a standard car licence. Power comes from a 2.1-litre diesel engine with an output of 136PS, linked to a manual as standard or a seven-speed automatic as an option.
Based on the long-wheelbase Tourer Pro, the Moselle comes with Bluetooth, USB and AUX connection, multi-function steering wheel, reversing camera, cruise control and air conditioning.
Final pricing and equipment details will be announced nearer the on sale date later in 2015.
