Updated Peugeot Partner goes on sale
The facelifted Peugeot Partner is now on sale priced from £13,215 (without VAT) for the standard panel van and £15,285 (excluding VAT) for the crew van model.
Along with an updated design, including a new front end look with a chrome surround on the grille, the revised Partner gets new Euro 6 compliant engines, a redesigned cargo area and new equipment.
The key changes under the skin involve the floor pan and as a result the standard L1 Partner can now carry two Euro pallets. A Transit Connect can only hold one.
The existing range of engines has been added to with a new 1.6 VTi petrol and BlueHDi diesel units, which are Euro 6 compliant. The 1.6 BlueHDi enginehas 100PS along with start/stop which helps reduced CO2 to 108g/km. It's available with either a five-speed manual or an optional ETG automatic.
Alongside it is the 1.6 HDi which comes with 75PS in the entry-level version or alternatively there's a 92PS model that's available with ATV Grip Control.
Three trim levels are offered - S, SE and Professional - with SE models coming with cruise control as standard plus front parking sensors and a reversing camera are optional extras. Professional models come with a TomTom Go 5000 navigation system as standard which clips magnetically to a charging dock.
There is also the electrically powered Panel Van EV model which has a range of up to 106 miles between charges and comes with an eight-year/60,000-mile battery warranty. It's priced at £21,300 (excluding VAT).
