Renault has teamed up with Hillside Leisure to build the Ellastone camper van. Based on the Trafic panel van it's a four-berth camper with an elevating roof, leisure battery, two-ring hob, sink with electric tap and a 50-litre fridge.

It's priced at £33,995 on-the-road and is available to order from all Renault dealerships as well as Hillside Leisure.

The Ellastone is available in Business, Business+ or Sport trim levels with standard equipment on all midels including a trip computer, heated electric door mirrors, ESC stability control, remote central locking and hill start assist.

It's available with the same engine as the Trafic - a 1.6 dCi - available in various outputs starting at 90PS and 115PS. A Twin Turbo model is also available with 120PS and 140PS. Like the standard Trafic, the Ellastone comes with Renault's four year 100,000 mile warranty plus four years roadside assistance.

Other standard features in the Ellastone conversion include low energy LED lights, a split charging system for the leisure battery, an activity shower, a Weaco 50-litre low energy fridge with ice box and a large foldout double bed that converts into a rear seat.
