Isuzu marks 100 years with limited edition D-Max Blade
Isuzu has commissioned a limited edition D-Max to mark its 100th anniversary. The Venetian Red D-Max Blade costs the same as the standard Blade model - £25,999 - excl VAT - but gets a centennial red paint finish for no extra cost. Order books are now open.
As with all D-Max Blade models, the Venetian Red model gets a host of additional equipment, with leather seats, touchscreen navigation and rear view camera. The pick-up also gets 18-inch alloy wheels, LED rear lights and side steps.
All models boast a one-tonne payload capacity and buyers can choose between a top roller cover with style bars or a colour coded Aeroklas canopy. Power comes from Isuzu's 163PS 2.5-litre twin-turbo diesel, with 400Nm of torque and selectable two-wheel and four-wheel drive.
Official fuel economy is 38.7mpg and a six speed manual gearbox is fitted as standard, while a five speed automatic transmission is available as an option. Every D-Max is backed by the company’s five-year/125,000-mile warranty.
