Militem reveals £170,000 Dodge-based super truck

An Italian tuning house has launched a £170,000, 700PS super truck based on the Dodge Ram 1500 TRX – itself a high-performance monster.
The Militem Magnum 700 is the UK’s most expensive double cab pick-up, but then that’s hardly surprising as it is hand-finished inside and out. It features a garish two-tone leather interior and a bespoke grille, wheelarch and bonnet design, with massive 22-inch alloy wheels.
Under the bonnet the Militem uses a supercharged version of Dodge’s Hemi V8, delivering 700bhp and 884Nm of torque, giving it a 0-60mph time of just 4.5 seconds, with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The extra power is kept in check with a modified suspension set-up, with adaptive Bilstein dampers. The ride height is also raised – presumably for extra presence – giving greater ground clearance and a fording depth of up to 80cm.
