Citroen Holidays: UK debut at 2025 Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show
Despite orders opening for the Citroen Holidays camper van in May 2024 it will only be seen for the first time in the UK at the 2025 Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham in February.
Citroen has partnered with van conversion company Bravia Mobil to create the Holidays making it an integral part of its own range. It uses the recently facelifted Citroen SpaceTourer MPV as its basis, which in turn is derived from the Citroen Dispatch medium-sized van.
Among the Holidays’ rivals are the Ford Transit Custom Nugget and the latest incarnation VW California spun from the Volkswagen Multivan people carrier.
Only one version of the Citroen Holidays is available combining the high-specification Max trim level with the BlueHDi 180 diesel engine and an EAT8 eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Standard specification includes a new 10.0-inch HD multimedia touchscreen to access the 3D connected navigation systems and wireless smartphone mirroring using Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In the living quarters is sleeping room for four people, a kitchen, a pop-up roof, swivelling front seats, and multiple storage options. Access is made easier by electrically operated sliding doors on both sides.
The kitchen is equipped with two gas burners, a sink, a 16-litre 12-volt refrigerator and retractable table, which can be removed to enable outside dining. There’s also a rear-mounted shower together with a 25-litre water tank and a removable toilet.
Greg Taylor, Citroen UK’s managing director said: ‘It is great to have New Citroen Holidays making its public debut at one of the biggest events in the camping and caravan industry. As this is the first opportunity for the UK public to see [it] for themselves, we can’t wait to see their reaction to our new and exciting campervan.’
Orders can be placed for the Citroen Holidays now, the single version available costing £56,590. After some now-remedied production delays, first customer deliveries should be in time to ensure buyers can enjoy summer 2025 trips in their camper.
