Mercedes Vision V concept points to styling of next Vito

Mercedes-Benz has revealed its Vision V concept – a luxury large MPV based on its new VAN.EA scalable electric architecture, which will underpin its new van range from 2026 onwards.

The company says that VAN.EA allows a clear differentiation between premium commercial vans and luxury van-based MPVs, which are popular as VIP shuttles and airport transfers.

The Vision V is very much a glimpse of the future luxury models, but the platform, shape and silhouette of the van are likely to strongly echo the appearance of the new Mercedes-Benz e-Vito, which is expected to appear in late 2026.

While little has been revealed yet about the new van’s battery technology and motors, the modular design will allow multiple wheelbase options and a low floor, which will undoubtedly suit commercial applications.

Why does my van not have a digital speed display?

I have recently bought a 2022 Vauxhall Movano van which has a standard speedo with a digital display. On the digital display it shows, mpg, all other trip details while driving, but I can’t seem to find a speed setting? The van is new to me, any ideas please?
The digital display within the speedometer is a trip computer which can displayer the odometer, fuel consumption, range, average speed and service information, but does not offer the facility to display the vehicle's current speed unfortunately.
