KGM shows off new EV pickup

KGM has shown its new Musso electric pick-up in the UK for the first time, to evaluate options for a UK launch.
The new electric pick-up was shown at Superbikerun's Lake District event on September 12th.
First shown in Korea earlier this year, the pick-up shares a name with the existing, diesel-powered Musso but is actually based on the recently launched Torres EVX electric SUV and would be sold as a direct rival to the recently announced Isuzu D-Max EV.
Specifications are still to be confirmed, but KGM says it is all-wheel-drive and has an estimated range of up to 290 miles, with vehicle-to-load functionality, allowing equipment to be powered directly from the truck.
Kevin Griffin, managing director at KGM Motors UK, said: “Superbikerun is all about adventure and new experiences, which makes it a fitting environment for participants to sample the Musso EV for the very first time. At this stage, it is about seeing what’s possible for an electric pickup and engaging with people who will ultimately shape its future.”
