Ford Ranger revised for 2026 with styling tweaks and new trims
Ford has revised the Ford Ranger for 2026 with new trims, updated technology and refreshed styling.
The Ford Ranger plug-in hybrid (PHEV) family comes with new Platinum and Limited versions, joining the XLT, Wildtrak, and MS-RT trims. Both the diesel and PHEV benefit from an updated, darker design scheme inside and out.
Standard across the entire line-up is Ford’s latest Sync 4A infotainment and navigation system, featuring a 12-inch portrait touchscreen, as well as a 12.4-inch customisable digital instrument panel. A new security addition, Trailer Theft Alert, notifies owners through the Ford app if a trailer is detached from the tow bar.
The Ford Ranger Platinum PHEV also gets ebony gloss black finishes on the H-shaped front fascia and grille surround, unique ‘Platinum’ badging, bonnet lettering and a 'sports hoop' in the load bed. It also has a gloss black mesh grille with a dark chrome centre bar, 18-inch machined-face alloy wheels and there's a new Acacia Green pearlescent metallic paint available only on the Platinum.
Inside, the Platinum has dark chrome highlights and urban grey stitching on the doors, steering wheel, and ebony leather seats, with a new quilting pattern.
Ford BlueCruise debuts on the Ford Ranger PHEV, offering hands-free motorway driving. First introduced with the Ford Mustang Mach-E, BlueCruise will expand to the Ford Ranger PHEV, Puma, Puma Gen-E, and Kuga from spring 2026.

BlueCruise comes as standard on the Ford Ranger Platinum PHEV and is available as an option on the Ford Ranger Wildtrak PHEV. This Level 2 advanced driver assistance system allows ‘hands-off, eyes-on’ driving up to 80mph on designated Blue Zone motorways, provided the driver remains attentive.
The Ford Ranger line-up offers both plug-in hybrid and diesel. Launched earlier this year, the Ranger PHEV delivers 281PS with 697Nm of torque, plus up to 26 miles of pure electric driving. Like the diesel it can tow up to 3500kg, has a one-tonne payload and electronically managed, all-wheel drive.
Alongside that is the 240PS 3.0-litre V6 diesel, producing 600Nm of torque and paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
Throughout the range, exterior trims now feature ebony gloss black, asphalt black matt and dark chrome finishes. Inside, Gloss Black and Magnetite painted decorative elements replace previous chrome or brushed silver touches on the steering wheel, doors, dashboard and air vents.
Additional highlights include a new Ignite Orange Metallic paint and exclusive interior stitching for the Wildtrak, with ‘welded’ seat emblems reflecting premium adventure gear.
Standard equipment on the Ranger Platinum models includes Matrix LED headlamps, 360 Zone Lighting, 10-way power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats plus Pro Trailer Backup Assist 3.
The upgraded Ranger range will be available to order from the end of December 2025, with first deliveries expected from May 2026.
