Mitsubishi Reviews

Good: Extremely tough running gear, long tyre life, durable interior, proven four-wheel drive system.
Bad: Small load bed on double cab but overcome with long bed version, 2.5 DI-D still belt cam.
Good: Versatile pick-up with more car-like handling than before, one-tonne payload capacity, extremely capable off-road, 2.4 diesel is more efficient than the old 2.5.
Bad: Load bed isn't as large as some of its rivals, ride can get uncomfortable on rough roads, five-speed auto is noisy.
Good: Good to drive, tight turning circle for a 4x4, positive gearchange, strong yet refined 2.2-litre diesel engine, PHEV version offer decent economy.
Bad: Limited appeal for tough work, carpeted load area will wear easily, has lost the split tailgate of its predecessor.
Good: Rugged build means impressive off road performance to match the likes of the Land Rover Defender, 3.2 DI-D engine has plenty of torque.
Bad: Lacks refinement and finesse, poor on road with sluggish handling and slow performance, no proper bulkhead.
Good: Proven off-road tech, 1500 litre load bay, 3.1 tonne towing capacity.
Bad: Not available until late 2018.
Good: Dramatic new Mitsubishi L200 launched in Thailand July 2019. Extremely tough and great to drive off road. Called Triton in Thailand, Series 6 in the UK. 3,500kg towing limit with 3-axle trailer.
Bad: Still has rear leaf springs.
