Good: Good quality and ideal for small businesses such as florists, load area is more than a metre wide, gets bespoke suspension set-up.
Bad: Ford Fiesta van is a better all rounder.
Good: Small but usefully practical small van, easy to drive in town with a tight turning circle, cheap to run thanks to economical 1.4 HDi engine.
Bad: Noisy on the motorway, cabin tight on space for taller drivers.
Good: Peugeot's equivalent of the Fiat Ducato and Citroen Relay, strong 2.2-litre diesel engines, 100,000 mile warranty as standard.
Bad: Noisy engines, passenger bench seat not comfortable for long journeys, choppy ride at low speeds.
Good: Comes with pneumatic rear suspension which is height adjustable, long wheelbase and high roof versions available.
Bad: ESP wasn't fitted as standard, three star Euro NCAP crash rating not up to the standard of the Ford Transit Custom.
Good: Efficient and easy to drive everyday will tow 2.5 tonnes, 1400kg payload capacity.
Bad: Entry-level engines are noisy, some build quality concerns, no high-roof option.
Good: Based on the 308 so rides and drives very well, available as a crew van, decent on the motorway with little road noise.
Bad: Gearchange could be better, basic model is poorly equipped and does without a sliding side door.
Good: Excellent range of petrol and diesel engines, one-tonne payload capacity, affordable fuel costs.
Bad: Mid spec vans are expensive, petrol engines not available until late-2019, small steering wheel will not suit everyone.
Good: Good value for money, lots of boot space, available with petrol, diesel or electric powertrains.
Bad: Awkward styling, poor refinement, high spec models are expensive.
Good: Easy to drive, low running costs, can be recharged from zero to 80 per cent in 30 mins via a D/C rapid charger.

Good: Stylish and comfortable MPV, well-equipped as standard, will transport up to eight, efficient range of diesel engines.
Bad: Tourneo Custom is better to drive, not a lot of boot space when all of the seats are in place, third row can get quite noisy.
