Vauxhall Vivaro – 190,092 on the road

Vauxhall’s medium van falls a long way short of the Ford Transit in terms of sales, but it’s appreciably more common on the roads than the Renault Trafic, which is mechanically the same. It’s been for sale over two generations since 2001, with a new and much improved version arriving in 2014.

The latest van is very user-friendly, with plenty of touches designed with modern businesses in mind. There are various mounting systems for tablets or smartphones, plus there is a versatile load area with a through hatch into the cab, for loading long items like pipes or boards.
