Twin camshafed

I have a 2005/55 1.0 Corsa Life and my camshaft has broken in two.
The car has only covered 25k miles. It happened this week. We are going to take it back to the dealer on Monday, but I don’t think I will have much luck. The sad thing is, my brothers 1.2 Corsa, same year as mine, went the same way three weeks previously. Have you got any advice on how to deal with them and if BBC Watchdog would be interested?

It's a well-known fault on 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 petrol engines in Corsas and Merivas, caused by the camshaft retaining bolts loosening. They need to be re-tightened at services. If your car has been wholly Vauxhall maintained, on time, you have a case. If it hasn't, you don't.
