I am looking to buy a left hand drive car for use in Spain, ideally in the UK in order that I can part-exchange my current right hand drive car. The dealer near me that specialises in LHD cars is consistently asking far more across the range than the Parkers price guide suggests. Is there a recognised mark up in the UK for LHD cars, please?

Since Sterling fell against the Euro it costs LHD specialists in the UK
40% more to source their used stock from Europe. That explains it. Official importers bought Euros forward, but not that far forward, so as long as Sterling remains weak against the Euro we can expect repeated price increases this year. The only cheap LHDs in the UK are distress sales.
