Wheelchairs within wheels

I'm looking to purchase a car £6,500-£7,000 inclusive of trading in an 02 Nissan Almera Tino. I need a car that is fairly high (as the Almera Tino) to sit in but smaller in length as I have arthritis in the spine and would prefer something easier to park. I also have to fit a fold up wheelchair in the boot. I'd prefer a car that could house the wheelchair without having to put the back seats down if possible. I'd be grateful if you could recommend something.

A Honda Jazz will accommodate the wheelchair best, either in the back or in the centre of the car with the rear 'magic' seat squabs folded up. Otherwise, a Nissan Note has a more upright driving position; a Renault Modus, more upright still. Mitsubishi Colts are also pretty good, and reasonably priced.
