My car's electric range seems poor. What do you think?

I purchased a Peugeot e-208 a few months ago. I have never been very impressed with its range so decided to drive it from fully charged until the battery warning light illuminated. Over a few days of mixed driving, about 30 miles on dual carriageway and the rest on local rural roads - it covered 94 miles. There were 8 miles of driving range left. During this time, the car was in 'normal' mode and contained one or two people. My driving style was conservative. I accept that the recent cold weather may have a part to play but this range seems very poor. I'm grateful for your comments and advice.

That does seem poor, but there are a number of factors that you've hinted at that can impact range. As you've suggested, the weather conditions won't help – did you pre-heat the car while it was plugged in? As you're probably aware, you can use the smartphone app to switch the heaters and heated seats on while the car's plugged in. This is worthwhile as warming the car up can use quite a lot of power. The kind of driving you cover will affect the range, too. Even if you're driving quite conservatively, a dual carriageway or hilly rural road route isn't the e-208's natural territory.
