Which small cars are the cheapest to tax?

Which make and modes have the cheapest car tax? It also needs to be good for very short journeys i.e. 3 miles per day, not driven much at weekends. Thanks.

All petrol and diesel cars registered since April 2017 will cost a flat rate of £150 a year in tax. Do you have off-street parking with access to electricity? If so, an electric car like the Renault Zoe might be a good option. They're cheap to run, free to tax and will suit your short journeys.
