What's the best way to sell a Triumph 1500TC?

A friend wants to sell her Triumph 1500TC. It was first registered in 1974 and it's mileage is almost 57,000. It still has the transparent plastic protection over the inside of the doors and had new carpets fitted in spring 2019. It has had rust protection sprayed underneath and a stainless steel exhaust fitted. All the original paperwork and driver's handbook are available. Are you able to advise on the best way to achieve a sale?

We'd recommend selling it via auction. You could use a physical auction house like Anglia Car Auctions or one of the new online classic car auction specialists, Collecting Cars or The Market. In our experience, all of them seem to generate pretty high sale results for cars like your friend's Triumph. If you contact them, they'll be able to give an idea of value.
