Should I buy a five year old car that has had five previous keepers?

I know that five keepers in five years is quite a lot and certainly more than average. But should this put me off buying a used BMW 535d?

There could be genuine reasons – it might have changed hands within a family, for example, or been registered as a dealer demonstrator. If it's making you think twice, though, so will any potential buyers when you need to sell it in the future. It'd need to be cheaper than a similar example with fewer owners and we'd recommend a car history check to make sure it's all above board: www.honestjohn.co.uk/cheap-car-history-checks/
