Buying a used large family car, what would you recommend?

To replace a company car, I will be buying a used large family car. It needs to be automatic, with low depreciation over two years as I only intend to keep it that long. I have £12,000 to spend and would like it to be a good quality car, with a good spec level and no more than three years old - what would you recommend?

No way of avoiding depreciation. I'd go for a Mondeo 2.0TDCI auto. £12,000 not enough for a Powershift, but I've seen 2008s with 60k milkes as low as £6000 at auction.
