My Nissan Micra is making a strange acceleration noise - what is it?

I bought a 2012 Nissan Micra 1.2 petrol manual with 39,500 miles on it. A strange noise, like a constant need to accelerate, is occuring. Is it a CVT?

Should I avoid the ETG gearbox in the Citroen C1?

I am thinking of buying a used Citroen C1 auto but have read the ETG gearbox is best avoided. Do you agree? Do you know why?

What hatchbacks come with a manual gearbox?

I am looking to change my current Mercedes A200 which has a manual gearbox. Can you suggest a similar size car, with the same spec and a manual gearbox? I intend to purchase a brand new replacement.

Citroen C4 (2011 - 2018)
