Can you change a category S car?

i have seen a car on an auction site, which is a police disposal, and down as a cat s, however there is zero damage to the vehicle.

Is there any way of having this amended?

It is not possible to have a car's category amended. It will always be on the register - it will never be removed. You can try www.autolign.co.uk/ which will remove it from HPI but it will still have a Visual Marker on the V5C document which will be put there by the DVLA. Once with the vehicle, it can never be removed.
