Replacement injectors in 2.0 VW Passat

In the past 12 months all four of the injectors in my VW Passat's 2.0 170PS PD engine have failed and been replaced by a Volkswagen main dealer.

Is it possible to find out if the new parts are any better then the old ones? I have asked VW but haven't received an answer with any substance!

I always used to find that the replacement parts fitted to a VW lasted indefinitely, compared to the 2 - 5 year lives of the originals. But the problem here is piezo injector technology. They are a bit fragile.
